Enable/Disable Standard Interviewer Toolbar Functions
The supervisor can enable or disable buttons in the Interviewer Console interface. This is a company wide setting that applies to ALL Interviewer Consoles. Changes to these settings will take effect the next time each interviewer logs in to work with the Interviewer Console.
Disabling hides a button from view, while enabling displays the button. Disabling (hiding from view) prevents the interviewer from using the corresponding functions in the Interviewer Console (all hot key combinations corresponding to the button functionality are disabled when the button itself is disabled).
Show my appointments - If the supervisor disables the "Show My Appointments" button in the Interviewer Console toolbar, the "Show My Appointments" link in the Create Appointment dialog will also be hidden.
Enable/Disable Dialer Related Toolbar Functions
To disable (hide) a button on the Interviewer Console toolbar the supervisor should clear a box in front of the button name in the "Enable/Disable Interviewer Toolbar Functions" group. Ticking the box will enable (display) the button in the Interviewer Console.
General Interviewer Console Settings
Functionality of the "Allow interviewers to redial a new number" option depends on whether the "Redial" button is enabled. When the Redial button is enabled the interviewer has the option to enter an alternative number to be dialed. If the "Allow interviewers to redial a new number" setting is unchecked the interviewer will only be able to redial the default number (the option to dial an alternative number will be removed) (go to Redial Functionality for more information).
Allow interviewers to create appointments outside of the permitted shift times - Enabling this setting prevents interviewers from creating an appointment outside of their permitted working shift. When this check-box is cleared, it hides the corresponding option in the Appointment window (go to Making an Appointment for more information).
Allow interviewers to cancel dialing when using either redial or Preview dial mode - Enabling this setting allows interviewers to cancel dialing while preview dialing is in progress, or when making an attempt to dial a number via the redial feature. When turned on, it allows interviewer to cancel dialing in the Interviewer Console (a Cancel button is displayed in the working area of the Interviewer Console when dial or redial procedure is in progress). Note that the Internal and External Call Transfer functionality must also be enabled in the System Settings tab by enabling the appropriate settings in the System Settings table.
Allow automatic scrolling - Enabling this company level setting allows for the auto-scrolling behavior in the interviewer UI to be disabled. Auto-scrolling is enabled by default so that the interviewer screen is automatically scrolled down to the first interactive question on the screen. In some use cases this behavior may be undesirable since it can cause non-interactive elements at the top of the screen to be missed (for example layout header information or information nodes defined before the interactive questions).
Enable ordering of interviews by priority in the manual selection screen - Enabling this setting allows interviewers to view a list of interviews organized by their assigned priority levels. This is useful when certain interviews are more important than others, and therefore need to be conducted first. By sorting interviews this way, higher priority interviews are displayed at the top of the list (increasing the chance that they will be considered/picked before other interviews).
Enable interview randomization in the manual selection screen - Enabling this setting helps to prevent multiple interviewers from selecting the same interview simultaneously. When this setting is enabled, the system selects a subset of interviews (up to a predefined number, which is 25000 by default) and randomizes their order on the selection screen. If an interviewer still selects an interview that's already in progress, the system refreshes, and updates the list to exclude any interviews that have been started since the last load. To further reduce the chance of selecting an interview that is already in progress, it is recommended to use the randomization feature in conjunction with the deactivation of interview ordering by priority. When both settings are used together this way, it ensures that no particular set of high-priority interviews constantly dominates the top of the list, which could still result in multiple interviewers attempting to start the same interview.
Note: The default value for ‘Console.InterviewsCountShownInManualMode’ is 100; this determines the maximum number of records that will be presented on the interviewer screen when using manual selection mode.
Show only calls vaild in the current shift in the manual selection screen - Enable this setting to ensure that only interviews meeting the current shift criteria and those with a time to call set to now or in the past are displayed, aligning with the same filtering criteria as the automatic call delivery mode.
Allow interviewers to select dial type - Enable this setting to allow interviewers to choose between either Landline or Cell Phone dial types, rather than relying on a supervisor to set it for them. After the interviewer selects either Landline or Cell Phone as their dial type, they will be prompted to choose their interview delivery mode, provided they have been authorized by a supervisor to select more than one mode. If not, this step will be skipped, and the process will continue with the default mode. Additionally, an optional setting (enabled by submitting a request to support) can enforce manual interviewing mode for Cell Phone dial types. This means that even if the interviewer is permitted to choose other modes, the mode selection step will be skipped for Cell Phone dials. For Landline dials, they will still be able to choose an interviewing mode, assuming their account is authorized for multiple modes by a supervisor.
Change company logo - Use this setting to change the company logo that is displayed to the interviewers in the upper-left corner of their screen. Click the link towards the bottom of the Interviewer Console tab, enter the image's URL into the field, then click Save. Note that the image should be no larger than 165 x 46 pixels to fit into the logo location. If the image is hosted in the File Library then it will always be available.
